If you’ve decided to stop using Filemail and want to ensure that your data is completely removed from our systems, you can permanently delete your account directly through the user interface — no need to contact support. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.
⚠️ Important: Before deleting your account, please make sure your subscription is cancelled. For details on how to do that, refer to our subscription cancellation guide.
Steps to Permanently Delete Your Account
Log in to your Filemail account.
Navigate to Settings.
Open the My Profile section.
Scroll to the bottom and click the ‘Permanently delete my user’ button.
Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be permanently removed from our system.
