Files sent with Filemail often have an expiry date. When this date is reached, the files are permanently deleted from our servers. We do however keep backups for a tad longer - so in some cases we are able to recover files from our backup systems.

If you visit a download page where files have recently expired - you'll see this message: 

We'll do our best to recover your files, but there are no guarantees. If we are unable to recover the files then you won't pay anything 👍

If the download page says that the file cannot be recovered - then there is no way we can recover it. Please ask the sender to resend the files.
