Both Filemail Desktop and browsers usually use your systems default download location to save the files to. However, this may be inconvenient when, for example, you intend to download a large file directly into your external drive. This article explains how to do that.
Browser
Open the Filemail transfer page.
Right-click the ‘Download file’ button.
In the drop-down menu select ‘Save as…’ option. You will be prompted to specify the download location.
Filemail Desktop
Navigate to your App Settings.
Enable the ‘Ask where to save each transfer before downloading’ toggle.
