Is personal data transferred outside of the EU/EEA?
Updated over a week ago

While most of our data processing takes place within the European Economic Area, certain personal data may be subject to international data transfers. This includes personal data related to payment processing and support tickets, which may be processed by sub-processors in the US that rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for such transfers.

The files you share through Filemail are generally stored in your region (based on your current IP address). With a Business or Enterprise Account you can specify exactly which regions of the world that files may be stored in.

Please note that personal data may be accessed by recipients outside of the EU/EEA if personal data is contained in the files you share through Filemail.
