Filemail has developed a detailed incident response plan aimed at addressing security incidents promptly and effectively. The key components of this plan include:

  • Incident Detection and Classification: Our security team actively monitors for unusual activities and anomalies. Incidents are categorized into four severity levels, from low to critical, each requiring a corresponding response based on its urgency.

  • Incident Response Protocols: For critical incidents, such as those involving active exploitation or verified malicious actors, we follow a structured and iterative response process. This includes convening regular meetings to assess, contain, and remediate the incident, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact.

Customer Notification: In the event of a security breach affecting customer data, we promptly notify all affected customers and relevant authorities in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
